Big Thirsty Aussies

Well once again, a good time has been had by all (I will have to send the photos of Terry's 'phantom pants' in an e for Karl. It looks and sounds as if all went well up-over as well. Will post more after the new year have a happy one.

  Well, a good day has been had by all and the day is still young. I think of everyone often but on this day I really miss and love all of you. i have been fortunate enough in life to have been born into such a family. So think of us and hug us with your hearts... we will be hugging you and hope you can feel it. well, xmas eve is here with a bang... 9am and 95 degrees to hot to mow, to hot to fish,hanging under the ceiling fan sounds like the only option (to windy for the beach). Thank goodness we are expecting a southerly change this arvo. Well I will leave you with your wonderful cool weather....

Merle the girl strikes again... our other pet as well as the goldfish(life expectency at the moment not very high). If we were to get a dog we wouldnt have the kangas and wallabies out the back so we have settled for those ever cuddly scaly little people Well, the photos are a bit blurry, but we are a bit beery and I would like to challenge anyone else to snap a striking snake!

So in typical the grass is always greener style..... I would love to see some sub-zero weather sooo..... hot. Gardens dying what about the bushfire season..... On a lighter note....YEAH WOO HOO CHRISTMAS IS NEARLY HERE OH BUT TO BE A CHILD AGAIN!!!!!! I was looking at the old family photo cd and it brought back all the good things, did we actually willingly sit in the hallway waiting for the ok to go see the tree.... Mom and Dad: kudos to you, stronger than I have been! I don't ever want to be told that my kids get to much at christmas, just look at all that loot under those trees!!! It is now Christmas eve eve eve eve eve eve eve eve!!!!

We must always look back to our origins when viewing photos of ourselves. I believe this will- to some extent anyhow- clear up the whole nickname business. Another weekend gone, 2 weeks today until the fat man comes. School is out for six weeks after the 20th so its to the beach we go!! Christmas is at our house this year, the north coast crowd is traveling south to us so we won't have to drive... woo!... hoo!... You can find me under the gin tree, with a philosophical smile on my face and a cool g&t in my hand for summer has arrived in Falls Creek.

Well another weekend comes to an end. We would gladly trade your snow for our stinking heat and humidity this week. We went to get our tree, the big one was our first choice but it wouldn't fit in the car. Well, let me tell you how many spiders creep out of a tree. I was nearly forced to crawl out the vents of the moving car, the screams from the backseat (not to mention my own litlle problem with spiders), made for an interesting ride home. Boris tells it much better but he goes into uncontrolable fits of laughter everytime it gets mentioned.

I plan on creating a new post at least once a week, but we all know how real life works, so if it is a bit more sporadic than that I do apologize. It may seem rather mundane to a lot of people but this is our life and it does not always seem that way to us. When you see the rain out the back acres and you are sitting with the people you love just enjoying being alive there is nothing mundane. Life is worth living because of those with which we share it.
