Change of Season YAY!!!!!

Well we had our first beach day last Sunday, still a bit cold but really not as bad as past years. Canoe 2 is under construction, gardens are starting, and all is good on the south coast. I will update the garden blog this weekend for those of you that may be interested.

We got Dwight a lady friend. Our newest addition is Winona, she walks all over him as you can see and her table manners are a bit rough.

We had our first ever attempt at smoking jalapenos to make chipotles and it was a success. Amazing what you can do with an old weber. We bought it from the tip for $10 about 10 yrs ago. It's a pearler. So hopefully my 8 jalapeno plants will bear us many fruit. Also many of the other varieties may prove useful as well.

Then the Chipotle en Adobo- yum!

We found a great swimming spot a short walk down the creek from home where there are no oysters and the dirt is fairly sandy. The photo are from the phone and really don't do it justice as my colour settings are off.

Well enough of putting it off I must go mow the lawn before it gets too hot.

Any crocs in that water? You'd better toss in one of the lizards first to be sure.
