Live again from the land of Oz

As winter decided to drop back in for a visit today we ignored the beach and took off for the bush. We had a lovely walk around the lake in the Botanic gardens of Booderee National Park. It was a trail we had never taken before and was very enjoyable. We came across a red-bellied black snake, but he got took off before we could get a good photo. They are venomous but non-aggressive. We also spotted a Satin Bower bird with this brilliant bower ready to attract his mate.
School started back up after a great spring break last week. We had a very low key break which made it really relaxing. A few bike rides into Husky for ice-creams at the park, a visit from the Northcoasters, and a trip to the farm for Aunty Jos 50th made for a fantastic couple of weeks. Having problems posting images will seek advice from our guru this week.

Glad your settled in and looking for exotic animals to boot! Spring Break sounds so good right now - still have 3 weeks before Thanksgiving break - I think I can, I think I can....
