fa la la la la! or "Boomba the xmas tree!"

We have been very busy over the last couple of weeks here with work/school/holiday prep/etc... as I suppose everyone is at this time of year. I have been combatting this by walking at sunrise on the beach, helps to make the day start on the right note!
Sekaiya went to Sydney with another girl to recieve a certificate for the school from "the Honourable Morris Iemma MP" our state premier. This was for the premiers reading challenge. The kids had to read so many books in so much time and our school did well.
The pan is to show the sad fact that pumpkins don't grow in cans in Australia and I had to boil one down to make a simple pie.

Thanksgiving came complete with football, although it was rugby it was still a game.

We went bush for our tree this year as they were too costly due to the drought but I think we got a pearler just the same. It is the top bit of the centre tree with the skinny trunk.

It's Christmas eve,eve,eve,eve,eve,eve,eve,eve,eve,eve,eve,eve,eve,eve,eve,eve,eve,eve,eve,eve,eve,eve!

Looks like your Christmas takes some effort, especially for the tree. It came out nice though. Hope all is well.
