Dec.-Jan part the first

Well well well indeed!

Wow over a month (nearly 2) has passed for which I apologize. Finally have the broadband back but fortunately nothing exciting has happened here so Bye!

But seriously now what a full 2 months it has been.
Well we got a Xmas tree (well it was exciting for us!)

lets see, where to begin, well summer is upon us so have had ample opportunity to put canoe in the creek off the back yard. The girls like the new place as well.

Next we had annual presentation night at the school and both girls came away with the Academic Achievement awards (which actually mead Tory Dux-or top of school but not politically correct to say so- best often only counts in sport)

then Tory got all dolled up for her Yr 6 farewell dinner. This is a big thing here as you go straight to high school after yr 6.

Then all the really good bits started happening like Christmas!!!! Yeah made even better by the visiting royalty of Strahlovnia!

Putting out Santa's beer and lollies (sorry Michelle but he does better if ya fill him full of grog!)

and the traditional reading of "The night before....."

Only to wake up to a glorious Christmas morning with gifts galore and breakfast on the barby!

Boxing Day was held at Boambee Beach, on the riverside. A great day for the annual tournament of " Oh Shit". Her exalted majesty, the queen of Strahlvonia even made it into the final.
Cards, beer, swimming, and food! The four elements!

Stay tuned for part the second.......
