Summer Daze
Well, summer is off with a bang here. Had a great Thanksgiving dinner. Mind you, I think I need to try and celebrate this holiday in a cooler time of year. Having the oven on for 5 hours when it is 90 degrees + is a bit much.
No shopping on black Friday for us, off to beach to swim with dolphins.
AAAhhhh... Truly one of those "life is good" moments. Let's see, what next Ah yes that's right I got to meet Wendall(-by meet I mean he came to the school and I had a kodak moment). For those who don't know, he is a member of our local footy team- Rugby League- sort of same scale as NFL in states. They are the St George Illawarra Dragons.
Next came the task of the "Christmas Tree!!" Each year we go out to the local Christmas Tree Farm to cut down a fresh one.
Step 1.
Finding the perfect tree. This is quite a lengthy process as the, "Hang on how about that one over there," factor is extreme. After wandering for some time we were finally able to decide on the tree that was the furthest away from car.
Step 2. Lights and tinsel that, no matter how well they were put away, miracuously managed to become "somewhat" tangled.
Step 3. The decorations! Yea!!!!
Step 4. The tree dance!
That pretty much wraps up the last few weeks, we did get a garden bed started and will get some pics up soon.
