Easter Holidays
Well, the end of the school holidays finish with a beautiful five day weekend to encompass Easter Monday and ANZAC Day. We had a great weekend up at Joann's (it's the best time of year there at the moment). Lots of nice colour in the Autumn leaves. The girls were, as always, happy to spend time with there cousins and us , well.... Warm fire, cold beer, card games.... doesn't really need saying, but we also enjoyed.
Tory's first job was to balance on tractor and try to retrieve Criquette's ball from a tree (at least we didn't make her hold an axe this time).
The Cousins:
Still enjoying baskets.
We didn't venture out to the ANZAC day march this year, but will still always honour and remember those who fought (and still are) to preserve our basic human rights, as well as freedom and peace. From Laurence Binyons's "For The Fallen" comes our "Ode to Remembrance"
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.
Lest We Forget
