Worlds Largest Mingo

One More week of work/school before the winter holidays start, Woo Hoo!
Took some photos of our Sunday running spot today (had to walk today as Tory is nursing chesty mucus and we would like for it to be gone well before the holidays),as we were able to take camera along. This is again , in the national park, in the Botanical Gardens. We have a current new favourite track- The Heath Trail- but we do end up in the Koori Gardens, and the Casuarina Lawn. Here are some photos.

The Heath Trail:

The Worlds Largest Mingo Trees: Aboriginal Australians have over 7 uses for these including, but not restricted to their use in photos.

More of the trail, and a great scribbly gum. There was also lots of Wattle and Bottle Brush out.

Round and Round the scribbly gum the monkey chased the weasels... well actually the monkey chased but the weasels just gave a blank teenage stare combined with the rolling of the eyes (tree humour is just wasted on some ).

How cool is this tree?

A couple of spots along the way:

Beauty! Tree (and fish)humor is one of my favorites! Looking forward to some National Forest time in about a week! Did you see any green and yellow ergle-glercks with 7 purple eyes?

Great scenery as always. Congrats for exercising. We need to try some of that. Can you send me that tree with the horizontal limbs? It would be perfect for a tree house in the back yard.
