Sunday arvo again already!!?????!!!
Well, after a brilliant sunrise we headed off to try and track down the ever elusive whales yet one more time. Armed with new intelligence of time and location we arrived at the ruined lighthouse in the national park at 8am -(yes and on a Sunday too). The first "nature moment" of the day was this Kangaroo pretending we couldn't see her. Up to the top to the old Cape St Goerge lighthouse ruins. Apparently they built it in the wrong spot and it was more of a hazard than a help, so they blew it up with a bit of dynamite and erected a new lighthouse on Point Perpendicular, which you will be able to pick out in the sunrise photo, if not sue the school system for not teaching you what perpendicular means. Second "nature moment" was when we found a couple of feral children at the top. Here is the lighthouse. It is , by the way, haunted by the ghost of a young girl who tragically lost her life while living here. I'd tell you the story, but that would ruin the book f...
